What is raya without visiting Ronald McDonald's "house"? Life will be too plain innit. And so after some visiting today, we went to greet him. :) And what's raya without a glimpse of the lame video capture of what's going on while doing some visiting? It's not raya lor. xP

Here's how I spent my birthday. In the HOSPITAL. Alhamdulilah, the op went great. Mum is surprisingly still "energetic" right after she was wheeled out from the operation theater to the ward. She managed to give here "harajuku girl" peace sign ok! Well, that last in several other shots later that day.

And so, tonight, there won't be the usual clubbing night for birthday. The night will be spend in the freezing ward. Thank god for the cable tv in the ward. At least, there is something to entertain me while mum is asleep. So now I'm here, lounging with both my legs up on 2 chairs nicely positioned to form into a makeshift bed watching hari raya variety shows on tv. Good night.

Thanks to all who came to pay a visit and to those who had bought some stuffs. Home won't go fruitless for the time being now. :)

Mum is gonna be admitted to the hospital for an operation to remove lumps on her neck later. Just hope it's not cancerous and prays hard the op will go well. With the blessing from Allah for her speedy recovery especially on the very date she gave birth to me, I hope he'll answer my prayers. Amin.

My deepest condolences to my beastie, Farhana and family for the loss of her dad. Al-Fatihah.

First of all, a sincere apology goes to all due to the lack of updates. I've noticed my previous posts are lacking of words. Ain't sure why, but expressing a lot nowadays on my blog seems a little too mundane for me but I'll try not to be lazy (provided I'm really free..ouh wait, i am free!).

So far, the Lebaran I had was pretty great. One that make it great was the endless supply of green packets I received at my age which makes me feel both good and bad. 1. It shows I look young (which I doubt so). Yipeee! 2. It shows I'm a lazy ass who just don't wanna get a job and seek free ang pows from those who are working. Hmmm. So which?

Just so you know. My aunt does not smoke for real. It's just an act. :) Salam Lebaran all!

how would u feel when your dream baju kurung for the very first day of raya is not ready? what do you suggest when you were informed only 2 weeks prior the special day? where the hell am i gonna get a tailor who will still accept order?

how would u feel knowing that the baju kurung u ordered 3 months prior to the special day is not ready? what will you think of the boutique who promised u it'll be ready in a month but didn't? what will you think of the way they handle their orders when each month u call them up to ask the status of your baju kurung and the only answer they gave was, "We'll check on it, don't worry it'll be ready." and a week before raya they call me up and said, "Ouh, I'm sorry to say that your baju kurung is not ready because our factory in KL didn't get the order."?

YASMIN boutique @ TKC and JCC, is that how you handle your customer's orders? 3 months of waiting for nothing? And to the owner of the boutique, please train your staff on how to handle situation like this. Trying to dodge and shift the blame to others when explaining the "reason" why the order wasn't ready to your customer is not a good work ethic.

Now, I'll just have to make do with what I have. Here's a peek.

//da iftar marathon

it will never cross my mind, for a bummer who's time is as a free as a chimpanzee hanging and jumping across a tree to another tree had her schedule for the last 3 weeks of ramadhan jam-packed. what went on? iftars...lotsa it. i'll just sum it up for you guys. see, who says i'm not nice?

first, it was the iftar with the half of da love, my group of bestest friends. been quite sometime since we meet up and a lot to catch up. ouh, plenty of cam-whoring too.

that night, after the iftar with the loves, i had to rush to another gathering. this time, with my international uni classmates. lotsa dry-humping actions going on. superly unsuitable for the holy month but we did have fun. xP. it does remind us of our days in leceister isn't it...

the very next day, with only 3 hours of sleep (still recovering from the the humping actions da day before), went down to al-ameen kembangan with the gang. makan sampai mati.

days after, iftar with the otha half of the love with my pisang, kongkang and kambeng. they are the true partners in crime. been a long time since we had a drive together..we miss those days didn't we? apart from playing kambeng's mum old sch cds collection of s.jibeng's musafir di hari raya, the iftar at ecp food village was fantastic. another 3kg gained. how to fit on my baju raya like that? the day didn't end there, we proceed to sahara @ clarke quay for sheesha and bumped into...aabas saad lah! (if u haf no idea who that is, u're so not born in our era..hehe)

now to da next iftar. the cousins gathering. lotsa crap talking. lotsa smoke inhalation. can't leave without u guys.

my ramadhan month wouldn't be complete without iftar-ing with my parents n sis at geylang. da same people, da same place, da same time. probably next year, a new edition to the family? hehe.

this time, went out with bestie, zul who's too engrossed about his iPhone then meeting me and naz who's superly excited for her engagement day with abg ramlee kita in november. suka kau eh.. after breaking our fast at vivocity, we proceed to geylang to borong all the daging and ayam. habis zul, kereta kau bau ayam. xD

and so, that marks the end of the iftar-ing marathon. i'll be much prepared next year.

it's time to move forward. it's been quite sometime after the most hectic "year" of my life. school is over. exhibition is over. hatred is over! (as long as i don't bump into that monster.)right now, i'm enjoying my life as a bummer. how wonderful is that? been doing short traveling ever since and i can't wait to head up kl next weekend. though for some would have prefer bali to kl, i just couldn't resist. Apart from my hands are itching to get going with the shopping spree there, i just can't wait to hook up with old friends. for now, i'll just have to wait and sit back, relax and play some more endless game of Sims 2. if only life could be this great and still earn big bucks at the same time doing absolutely nothing...

yes yes.. i've been lazy. and yes..i was damn busy. how could i not be? a lot of work to be done. been too busy that i have to club at both MOS and Zouk in one night. bwahahaha. i'll try to update more often ya.. i "promise". =P

a strange thing happened when i got home that night/morning. thinking that my sis was somehow in the kitchen (cos' i heard rummaging noise of kitchen utensils), i went inside and found no one was there! checked out her room and there she was all the while. i didn't think of anything else after that and went to sleep. the very next day, mum asked me if the report of an accident in the paper was the one i saw the night i came back from the club. yes..i saw the whole thing and i was there but i didn't really think it could be that serious. come to think of it now, could his soul had somehow followed me back. if it's true..how freaky is that man! brrr... nonetheless my condolences to his family. al-fatihah...

it's the day of the "years" again! you know what i think of 29 Feb? i think in 4 years to come, i'll shall get married on this day so i don't have to hassle myself every year having to find the perfect gift and do special dinner arrangement to celebrate my 1-year wedding anniversary. that's a whole lot of saving innit? so my first wedding anniversary will come every leap year. and so, after 4 years had passed later, should i still call it a 1-year wedding anniversary or the forth? hmmm.

on another note, there's something we should be aware of on this special day.

though it's hard to break away from my n73, i just had to. it was with me the whole time i was in london and it had captured those experiences delicately...but too bad, it was too problematic to my liking. i've switched, i'm going away from nokia and towards sony ericsson. less hassle, less problems. i hope. *cross fingers* been eye-ing for that iphone but since it's kinda troublesome to have it imported here, i'll make do with my new sony ericsson w906i for now! hey..it has touch-screen too aye. lol.

mum woke me up early to accompany her to a wedding reception. geee...and i though i could at least dozed off till late afternoon since it's the weekened but NO. the food reception and the ambience of the wedding was worth the early wake up though. great food, great white/cream wedding and great "malay" wedding favor. sungguh melayu, with boiled egg, pulut kuning and all. love it! i think it's time for somebody to shoot the host for giving out pinggan mangkuk as a wedding favor! buat serak kan rumah ajer! =X

comolot. yuck. no...not towards the community they were focusing in the short-story film. but to the whole product of it . with all that hoo-hah waiting for its debut, it was a total joke. as controversial as what the producer or director wants it to be, it lacked the essence of a good reality film. honestly, it could be a great film if first, they are able to let people who knows zero of the rainbow community to understand their lives as one. secondly, force your casting director or agent to tender their resignation asap. bad actors/actresses for a bad plot, you know it could ruin everything. thirdly, for goodness sake...don't you know color enhancement is one of the major tool in creating a film? if you want it raw, might as well spare those expensive film recorder and use a cheap camcorder instead. who knows, that might work better. sigh.

i like the idea of them trying to send across the issue of gay-ism among us. but you know it could be better..not this way. it's just plain wrong. here are 2 other short-story films that reflects the real world which i think is worth your every seconds watching it.
